Damn, I really enjoyed this book.
Sweet and amusing mixed some laugh out loud moments.

Holly Clifford plans on leaving town to pick up the pieces of her life when
Nick Shaw rolls into town.
He wants to buy a home, she’s a realtor selling one.
No strangers to one another, he was the high school jock
and she the nerdy invisible girl.
Time has changed both.
They really are a cute couple. I adored them!

Horse drawn carriage rides and a tree lighting ceremony make it a
festive holiday read.

Soft love scene with a magical ending gets you ready to celebrate the joy of the season.

I’ve got a secret and I’m not telling.
Who is the mystery man Mallory Vaughn fell for is top-secret so don’t expect any spoilers.
It is finally revealed who Mallory is attracted to and oh boy are you going to love him
I can tell you this… I was licking my lips, holy smokes this man is hot, romantic and totally swoon worthy!
I’d love to share details about you know who, but I can’t.
His identity will remain locked away in my dream world of book boyfriends until release day.
I’m addicted to this series aka “Gansett Island” because each set of characters have a unique story to share.

One of the things I love about this series is you always know what’s going on with all the extended friends and family
No matter what they are there to support and champion each another.
Omg, I got the chills when Mallory and Big Mac McCarthy were having lunch, it was the first time she called him dad. He is a great father figure considering they are still getting to know one another.
She grew up not knowing who her father was so acquiring a
new family, new job and new man has her head spinning.

Hop on board the ferry to Gansett Island, plan on staying awhile
to enjoy the scenery and the locals!

Release Blitz: Dashing Through the Snow by M. Leighton

Need some fun to brighten up the holidays? Need some heat to warm up the cold nights?

Well, this is just the thing. DASHING THROUGH THE SNOW,

a sexy, snowy Christmas story by M. Leighton is LIVE!

A dash of perfect for the holidays!

Dilyn Hart hates Christmas, so when her boss (and ex-boyfriend) hands her an assignment to interview champion snowboarder and gorgeous playboy extraordinaire, Dash Grainger, on Christmas Eve, she takes it. There are several things she doesn’t plan for—a surly driver, a chalet in the middle of nowhere, a freak snowstorm—but the biggest surprise of all is Dash himself.

Dash Grainger lives for the high, and so far in his twenty-six years, he’s never met anyone or anything he loves more. Nothing has ever thrilled him as much as slick snow, cold air, and breakneck speed.

Until he meets Dilyn.

But one perfect night doesn’t mean clear, blue skies the next day. Some storms can’t be weathered.

Christmas might just be one of them.

Merry Christmas to me when I received arc from M. Leighton.

Ho, Ho, Ho, or rather bah-humbug for Dilyn Hart who hates Christmas.
Her interview with snow God, Dash Grainger turns into an overnighter when
a snow storm traps the pair for the evening.
Short insta-love holiday tale of white hot attraction as Dilyn navigates the
pull she feels when Dash turns on his charm during a game of 20 questions.
Walls come down when Dilyn shares why she dislikes the holiday and I laughed my ass off when Dash explains how he got his nickname.
Feeling downright comfortable with each other the game leads
to sizzling dessert and the one-nighter has a ripple effect that changes
their lifepath.
One snowy night, a blazing fire and dessert ala s’mores melts her

Baby it’s cold outside but inside… it’s hot with desire.

Release Blitz Review: Water Under the Bridge by Britney King

Title: Water Under the Bridge
Author: Britney King
Release Date: Oct 25, 2016
Add to Goodreads
My whole life I’ve wanted nothing more than to fit in.
Only, my whole life I’ve done anything but.
That’s probably because I’m anything but average. After all—female serial killers seem to be a minority in today’s society.
And that’s ok—because I’ve longed for a change for quite some time now.
Which brings me back around to fitting in.
You know what one has to do to fit in?
I do.
One has to blend.
Which is great news!
Because I realize my clock is ticking, so to speak, and now I want a family. Luckily, I’ve always been good at getting what I want.
So I figure what better place to blend than suburbia?
All that stuff I did before—it’s water under the bridge now. I just hope it’s not too late to change my ways. Here’s to hoping for suburbia’s sake, too.
I mean, what are the odds I could be the girl next door?
Apparently, they’re better than you might think.
Your whole life you’ve wanted to fit in.
Only your whole life you’ve done anything but.
That’s probably because you’re anything but average— you’re a killer— but, then so am I.
You say you’ve longed for a change for quite some time now.
This is good because, well, me too.
Your clock is ticking, you want a family, but you waste so much time.
I know because I’m watching, waiting, blending.
What you don’t realize is if you want me, and I think you do, then you’ll have to change your ways because sometimes hunters become hunted.
But what are the odds of that happening in suburbia?
Apparently, they’re better than you might think.
You told me by candlelight last night that your real name is not Ryan as it said on the dating site, as you said at dinner. It’s Jude. I wasn’t surprised. We all become someone different online. As you ran the tips of your fingers across my cheek, you promised you were sorry for lying, and then you showed me when you touched my scars with your lips. You asked for the truth about them, but I didn’t give it to you. You don’t get to be the only one who lies. Which is why I haven’t told you exactly who or what I am.
It isn’t time for whole truths about anything.
Speaking of names, it took a lot to pry Amy’s last name from your lips, and you see… you do still keep her close to your heart. You’re protecting her. This is how I know. It’s dangerous, Jude. She is dangerous, and you need closure, you really do. It’s too much to go around carrying the weight of her, believe me, I know. Morris was the answer you gave when you finally relented—but you lied. Your jaw did this twitchy thing, and that’s how I knew. We all have our tells, and apparently, that’s yours.
“No doubt, she’s married now,” you add, to cover your tracks, to conceal your lies, and you are still in denial, still protecting her, and it’s okay because, luckily, I know how to hunt people.
Later, I withdrew in your lies, and you sensed me pull away.
I started slowly at first, retreating into myself and then I left and didn’t speak to you for four days. You let me have my space, at first. I’ll give you that. But the thing you need to know about women is that it isn’t space we want, not really. We want a fight. We want a man willing to burn for us—someone willing to put it all on the line. We want to go to war.
I know you have it in you, I do. This is why I don’t return your calls. This is why I play hard to get when the truth is I miss you. I miss the way your arms feel around me, the way your eyes bore holes into my soul—all the ways you seem to know me even though you don’t. So on the fourth day, when you show up at my door, this is why I practically leap into your arms. You aren’t confused like most men would be. Not you. You come bearing gifts that aren’t flowers. You come bearing breakfast and plane tickets, and you are a warrior, Jude, you are.

I have never read anything like this before, Ever.
I’m still trying to process whether or not I liked it.
But how could I not, it was so well written. Mindfuck.
A pair of deranged psychotic killers wreaked havoc in my mind.
The writing style weirded me out, a combination of dual POVs, told through inner monologues much like listening to a voice behind the scene.
Almost like the character is a narrator speaking directly to the reader.
The book cover is so innocent looking but don’t be fooled.
Plots, drugging, murder are rampant throughout while scenarios of want
take the lead.
A game of cat and mouse, scheme and conquer, win and lose. Mindfuck.
Several times I opted to close my kindle and consider this a DNF, only to find myself moving on to the next chapter. Mindfuck.
Kate and Jude, natural born killers.
They may not blow you away but they will blow your mind.

We love death. Darkness pulses through our veins, it propels us forward, and we are seekers, always seeking.

The Trouble with Mistletoe (Heartbreaker Bay, #2)The Trouble with Mistletoe by Jill Shalvis
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This time of year I like to settle down with a Christmas story.
The lights, trees, mistletoe, and the promise of Santa gets
me ready for the hustle and bustle of the holidays.
It’s a magical time of year for the young and old.
Jill Shalvis delivers a heart-warming story that brings together
two people who have live in temporary worlds.
Funny thing is they went to the same high school only he
doesn’t remember her. Ouch, that hurt.
Willa Davis grew up in the foster system and that shaped her life.
Now the owner of a pet shop animals come in and out of her
life like a revolving door much like the people she collects.

You don’t attach,” she said. “And I don’t tend to lock in. At my shop, customers come and go. The animals too. Even my employees. And men. The only constants have been my friends.

Keane Winters lives a solitary life a product of a detached family.
It is Petunia the cat, the unruly feline who brings Willa and
Keane together.
I love a man who can put up with the whimsicality of pussy cats.
His stern cat chats were hilarious.
Keane may not be a kitty lover but he does like pussy, Willa’s!
He’s naughty and nice just like an elf and her gave her
joy to the world orgasms.
TTWM 1 photo TTWM2.jpg
Willa unwraps Keane like he’s the best gift under the tree.
Sweet as a candy cane and steamy like a hot toddy.

Willa’s friends crack me up, they seem to know more about
what she needs than she does. Loyal and nosey they push
the limits until Willa sees the light.
Standalone, HEA.

And don’t miss the first novel in Jill Shalvis’s Heartbreaker Bay Series, SWEET LITTLE LIES,

now available! Grab your copy HERE!

A guy stood on the other side of the glass, mouth grim, expression dialed to Tall, Dark and Attitude-ridden. He was something too, all gorgeous and broody and –hold up. There was something familiar about him, enough that her feet propelled her forward out of pure curiosity. When it hit her halfway to the door, she froze, her heart just about skidding to a stop.

“Keane Winters,” she murmured, lip curling like she’d just eaten a black licorice. She hated black licorice. But she was looking at the only man on the planet who could make her feel all puckered up as well as good about her decision to give up men.

In fact, if she’d only given them up sooner, say back on the day of the Sadie Hawkins dance in her freshman year of high school when he’d stood her up, she’d have saved herself a lot of heartache in the years since.

On the other side of the door, Keane shoved his mirrored sunglasses to the top of his head, revealing dark chocolate eyes that she knew could melt when he was amused or feeling flirtatious, or turn to ice when he was so inclined.

They were ice now.

Catching her gaze, he lifted a cat carrier. A bright pink bedazzled carrier.

He had a cat.

Her entire being wanted to soften at this knowledge because that meant on some level at least he had to be a good guy, right?

Luckily her brain clicked on, remembering everything, every little detail of that long ago night. Like how she’d had to borrow a dress for the dance from a girl in her class who’d gleefully lorded it over her, how she’d had to beg her foster mother to let her go, how she’d stolen a Top Ramen from the locked pantry and eaten it dry in the bathroom so she wouldn’t have to buy both her dinner and his, as was custom for the “backward” dance.

“We’re closed,” she said through the still locked glass door.

Not a word escaped his lips. He simply raised the cat carrier another inch, like he was God’s gift.

And he had been. At least in high school.

Ainsley Daniels. She is a typhoon. A tidal wave. A goddamned wrecking ball. She burst into my world unannounced and left nothing but destruction in her wake. The worst part about it: I can’t get her out of my head.
In a bizarre twist of fate, the drummer of my band is marrying Ainsley’s best friend. In a few months, I’ll be face to face with the woman who took my heart and ran. It’s been over a year since I first laid eyes on her, and I’m finally getting the second chance I was hoping for. This time, I’ll do anything to make Ainsley Daniels mine.

If you like rock and roll, tattoo guys, swaying to the beat of the music, and hot sex then
this one is for you.
Be prepared to stay a while as the author has no intent on letting you go.
Ansley Daniels needs a distraction and when the opportunity to go on tour
with Black Diamond lands at her feet she can’t say no.
Black Diamond is the hottest rock group on tour and when lead singer
Kade Black sees Ansley he has to have her.

One night. No Rules. No strings.

Yeah, we all know how that goes!
Kade 2 photo Kade 3.jpg

Kade Black is a rock god with muscular arms covered with tats and eyes that can see right
through to your soul.
Women fall at his feet for the chance to be in his bed.
Ansley Daniels just went through hell with her ex-husband so why not let go and
enjoy one night with the gorgeous rock star.
Warning… hot explicit sex! Every surface is a sexual playground for Kade
and Ansley.

Kade 1 A photo Kade 2.jpg

Be prepared for a lot of up-and-down’s. Foolish little girl, fickle little girl, Ansley can’t
make up her mind and it drove me crazy.
Talk about being hot and cold. One minute she wants him the next she drives him away.
She does have a lot to lose if she’s not careful but seriously make up your damn mind!
It’s like being on a conveyor belt constantly moving and going nowhere.
Kade is a hot head but walking away from Ansley isn’t an option.
He should win an award for all the shit she put him through.
Kade I liked, Ansley not so much.

Even though this has an HEA it pissed me off that he’s still… waiting.

Travis King is the worst kind of asshole.

He taunts me for being a good girl and mocks my high standards.

He’s cruel, crass, and has enough confidence to last two lifetimes.

And I hate him.

It wouldn’t matter so much if he were avoidable.

But considering he’s my older brother’s best friend and roommate, I see him more than I’d ever want to.

His sculpted abs and gorgeous eyes are wasted on such an arrogant man, which makes me hate him even more.

Even though I’ve had a crush on him since I was ten, the feelings weren’t mutual and he’s made that very clear.

He’s always loved getting under my skin and one night against my better judgment, I let him in my bed.

I’ve succumbed to his manwhore ways, but that doesn’t change a thing.

Because the King is about to get played at his own game—and lose.

If there’s one thing that really gets my motor revving its love hate relationships.
I thrive on them.
I was salivating on the back-and-forth banter between Viola Fisher and Travis King.
Their hatred festered as love consumed.
Yes, there is the standard he’s my brother’s best friend so he’s off limits, she’s my best friends’ little sister so hands off.
That actually takes a backseat to the forefront of hatred that is so intense
I knew the physical act of worship would be scorching hot.
The sexual tension was so thick you could slice it with a knife ending with sex scenes so hot the screen on my kindle melted.
Viola’s rebuttals were harsh while Travis’ sexual insinuations were branding.
Let’s face it Travis is a man-whore who f**Ks who he wants, when he wants
with no repeats. Businessman ala sex God! Built, tats and knows how to please
over and over.
 photo CM 2.jpg
One…Two…Three…Four… He takes control and gives back star blinding pleasure.
He knows his way around a woman’s body, inside and out!
Viola is geeky on the outside, beneath a simmering vixen waits
to attack.
I was beginning to think maybe there’s a chance for these two and then the authors

pulled the rug out from underneath me and gutted me to the bone.

Young handsome macho man with muscle abdominal and open jacket sitting in armchair.

Once I’m home, I start unbuttoning my shirt and ripping my belt off. I can’t stand being in these clothes any longer than necessary. I don’t see or hear Viola anywhere, although her car is parked in the driveway, so I pull my shirt off and pull my pants down before tossing them on the arm of the couch.

I walk to the kitchen and pull open the fridge to look for a beer. Once I find one, I twist off the cap and slam the door shut again. Just as I take a swig, a girl walks in, who is not Viola and stops frozen in her tracks.

“Who are you?” I ask, fully aware I’m down to my boxers. Her eyes glass over before finally blinking and looking back up to my eyes. “Did you hear me?”

She swallows. “Yes, sorry. You just scared the shit out of me. Viola said her brother wasn’t home.”

“I’m not her brother.” I take another swig, roaming my eyes down her petite little body. “I’m the roommate, Travis.” I say, taking a step toward her. “You must be a friend of Viola’s?”

Before she can answer, I hear Viola stomping toward us. “Don’t touch him, Ash. You’ll catch an STD.”

Her eyes widen, and I’m pretty sure I see her friend take a tiny step back.

“I’m surprised you even know what an STD is, considering you’re a virgin and all.” I flash a wink at her when her friend isn’t looking.

She huffs. “I’m not a vir—gah, never mind. Fuck off, Travis. And put some damn clothes on.”

“I don’t think your friend minds.” I turn and smile at her. “Do you?”

“Uh…I…” she stammers, and a part of me feels bad I’ve put her in the middle.

“Didn’t think so.” I grin, walking past her toward Viola. “Looks like you’re in the minority, princess.”

I sit on the couch and click on the TV. I hear Viola speaking to her friend as they finish bringing in all of her shit. I glance back and see bags lining the floor.

“You realize you’re only staying here for a couple weeks, right?” I shout. “No need to nerd up the place with all your Harry Potter books and capes. Wouldn’t impress my guests.”

“You’re an idiot,” she snaps. “And since when did you consider your one-night stands ‘guests’?”

I turn fully, facing her. Her cheeks are flushed, and I know it’s killing her that she has to be here alone with me. “You want to see how well I treat my guests?” I flash a crooked smile, knowing it’ll rile her right up.

“I wouldn’t let my worst enemy near you,” she fires back, narrowing her eyes at me. Fuck, she’s hot when she gets super pissed. All the more to push her buttons.

I tsk. “If you could keep them away that is…”

I turn back around just as she tells her friend it’s time to go. She whispers a few curse words, and I know this is going to be a lot more fun than I expected.
